I’m in my early forties. I write under a pseudonym. I live in Thailand at the moment. I don’t know how long I’ll be here. I’m working on a novel.

When you create, what inspires you?

Life. Pain, mostly. The icky things that we do our best to ignore.

Tell us about the specific inspiration behind one or each of your accepted pieces.

Fugacious Fuck is about falling in love, and how it makes us vulnerable. When we’ve had our hearts broken, falling in love is something we approach with some trepidation.

What is your medium of choice? Why?

I write on my laptop. When I struggle with words, I scrawl on a sketchpad. It helps…

    PS. Please don’t tell me that’s ok that women avoid self-promotion expecting that everyone sees how good they’re…whilst less talented men brag about themselves and get away with it.

  7. I’ve seen other people reblog their own posts from other sites before… I guess it’s fairly normal so I would answer your guestion: No, it is not vanity that you have reposted this piece it is, rather, pride in your accomplishment. Congratulations!
